You can set up your laptop to go to a hibernation mode or to a standby mode when the LCD is closed. On some newer models there is no button, because the switch is magnetic. The screen has two pieces of black tape holding it into the phone body and it also has the cable going to the ear piece taped to the back of the screen in two places. Now you can remove the back, which again requires some prying to snap it free. There are six screws on the back of the screen, three are covered by plastic circles that need to be pried free. Remove the 6 screws around the outside of the back of the phone and a seventh screw behind where the battery rests. I noticed some kits on ebay that include a pry tool and a t6 torx driver, but my xenon is all philips not torx screws.

Pretty much the only tool you need is a small philips eye glass screw driver and a small flat screw driver or pry device. You need good eye sight and be prepared to drop microscopic screws that you need to chase after. I figured my way through it and thought I should post something someplace so others can find it.
